Pilgrims must respect holy places' sanctity and not be preoccupied with taking photos: Ministry
Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called on all visitors of the holy mosques to respect the sanctity of these places and to adhere to morals while taking photos.
The Ministry said that visitors must not be preoccupied with taking photos, but should be focusing on worship. When taking photos, people should not show others in the frame without their permission, the Ministry urged. It also stated that the visitors have to avoid stopping to take photos and causing crowding. It is noteworthy that the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques organizes field tours to ensure the system of services that are provided for the visitors. These services are I’tikaf, the unit for fasting affairs, in addition to the Department of mobility services at the Grand Mosque.
